Seeing hearts

There's so much to love about the rising trend in fashion for all things love hearts. Fabric, handbags, swimwear, home accessories, and, of course, jewellery. Hearts are everywhere.

Hearts in jewellery is nothing new - Queen Victoria was incredibly found of heart shaped motifs in her jewels, including a bracelet with a heart shaped charm representing each of her children. Further back than that, they appeared in the late medieval period in the form of rings and brooches, often inscribed with short love poems. We do love a good love heart token.

This season Gucci, Channel, Celine and Saint Laurent, -and many other top designer names, are showcasing hearts.
Several recent hit movies (such as teen drama Euphoria) and tv shows ( Emily in Paris, And Just Like That) have more than helped revive the classic Tiffany & Co heart-shaped 'Return to Tiffany's' necklace recently too. It was brought back into fashion and first popularised by the film Legally Blonde, but started life as the iconic keyring first introduced in 1969.
