Lost jewellery Checklist

There is nothing quite so sickening as realising you have misplaced your ring, lost your necklace or that your watch has fallen off somehow.
Follow Almagrove Jewellers checklist to increase your chances of finding it again.
If you're sure you lost it at home;
Retrace your steps,
Tidy each room you have been in.
Check in unusual places as you tidy - like the shower trap, in the bedding, under the bed etc etc.
Look with a torch, even in daylight. Jewellery is very shiny and may catch the light as you shine it.
Ask a friend to help you look as two pairs of eyes are better than one.
If youre sure you lost it outside;
Retrace your steps.
Look at the floor everywhere you have been - check kerbsides, edges of shop floors.
Report it to each store or place you have been.
Consider a 'Lost' advert and flyers asking if anyone has found it or seen it.
If you dont know where you lost it;
Do all of the above; retrace your steps, tidy up where you've been at home, look in places you've recently been in.
Ask friends and workmates to keep an eye out.
Report it to your insurance.
Check local jewellers and pawn shops.
Check on eBay in the next few days.
We hope this helps!
We recommend that you check the fastenings and claws settings on your jewellery every now and then. We also recommend your have all your jewellery insured, so you can replace it in such situations.
