Take a look at our favourites from all the jewels on the red carpet at this year's BAFTAs!

Proving that once again pearls are just so NOW Cate showed off this necklace and fabulous cocktail ring on the red carpet. The Louis Vuitton pearl necklace that centred on an icy green tourmaline fixed to her shoulder, this tourmaline was repurposed from another piece of jewellery.

Sheila Atim in Prada and Chopard jewellery.

If you can take your eyes away from what looks like a lot of tin foil…. You’ll see the most spectacular necklace sitting perfectly around Sheila Atim’s neck. Its a white diamond Chopard bib and chandelier earrings. Fabulous!

Anya Taylor-Joy in Tiffany & Co. Jewellery. 

If you can get by the fact her stunning Schiaparelli Haute Couture dress does actually look a little bit like parts of a sofa, then you can concentrate on the gorgeous sweeping necklace by Tiffany & Co. It's from their archive -a bold mid-century swirl of a diamond necklace. She paired the 1972 piece with the house’s Schlumberger and Tiffany T rings.

The looks we are seeing - and these we will see filter down to the high street and independents - are the chandelier earrings; they have to cascade quite literally, and the use of not just pearls but ‘lesser’ chosen stones like tanzanites, tourmalines, topaz and similar are featuring heavily. The choice of feather shapes and serpents are still popular, and absolutely everyone just has to have a cocktail ring.
