A hit at Bonhams New York Spring Auction.

Actress entertainer Bette Midler’s jewels were some of the the stars of the show this auction in New York at Bonhams NY.

Over  a dozen pieces from Midler’s personal collection were featured. Midler, star of films such as Hocus Pocus, Beaches and The Rose,  has 3 golden globes, 4 Grammy awards, 2 academy award nominations and 3 Emmys to name just a few of her accolades.

She also has exceptional taste in fine jewels too. Highlights of the auction included a diamond and yellow sapphire feather brooch from Tiffany & Co, and a Cartier La Dona gold watch.

The feather brooch, with a central yellow sapphire weighing 8.5cts and set with round brilliant cut diamonds, mounted in 18k gold and platinum, sold for $40,695.

Whilst the Cartier watch, set with number brilliant cut diamonds, sold for $20,400.
